Harmful gases are expelled as water circulates. The ripples created disturb the water surface, resulting in reduced algae growth.
The Aqua-Pilz floating aerators push water upwards, like fountains, creating an attractive water feature. The water is stimulated and circulated with a propeller. The spray trajectory angle and impact on the water surface improve gas exchange with the atmosphere. Gas filtration and oxygenation are unmatched, resulting in a healthy fish population. The expulsion angle was chosen so that waves move away from the aerator, distributing aerated water throughout the pond. Stagnant and oxygen-poor areas are thus avoided. This water flow away from the device also ensures the aerator always draws oxygen-poor water from below, circulates it, and enriches it with oxygen. Short-circuit flow is prevented by the expulsion angle.
Aqua-Pilz comes in two designs: with a surface motor and with a submersible motor. Both types are almost identical in terms of performance, oxygen enrichment, and energy consumption. The submersible motor design produces a lower and wider water fountain, while the surface motor version’s fountain is taller but narrower.
Only the submersible motor version is suitable for winter use (to reduce ice formation, for example).
Both types of Aqua-Pilz are, of course, designed for continuous operation. The aerators are delivered ready to use and come with cable and motor protection device. All screen baskets, fittings, motor shafts, and screws are made from rust-resistant materials.
The high-performance electric motor of this type of aerator is housed in a polyethylene cover attached to the float above the water surface, with its long stainless steel shaft. From the outside, the insulated motor runs silently, and only the murmur of the stimulated water is audible. A large rust-proof intake excludes fish and debris from the pump chamber.
The mesh basket is available in a variety of mesh sizes. We have been manufacturing Aqua-Pilz aerators for over 30 years. This aerator has proven itself thousands of times and guarantees durability!
