Description
Oxypond (formerly Oxyper) is not a chemical product but an oxygen preparation that attacks the cellular structure of algae, making them smaller or causing them to disappear completely.
Direct action against filamentous algae thanks to active oxygen:
- Contains special bacteria that break down dead algae
- Acts preventively against parasitic attacks
- Acts against gill necrosis in fish
- Contains no heavy metals or organic biocides
- Improves water quality
In ponds, excess solid substances such as food residues, fish excrement, and organic decomposition products accumulate and cause the formation of oxygen-poor deposits. These processes reduce the oxygen content of the water, which causes stress in fish. Stress slows fish growth and makes them vulnerable to diseases. Using Oxypond noticeably improves water quality. Thanks to Oxypond, the water is saturated with oxygen, which improves the living conditions of the fish. At the same time, it improves the color and clarity of the water, resulting in great purity. Additionally, Oxypond biologically attacks filamentous algae. Pour Oxypond directly into the water to be treated or target it onto the filamentous algae.
Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Important: Do not use this product when pH values exceed 8.6. Repeat the treatment only after 3 days.
DOSAGE: 1000 grams of Oxypond is enough to treat about 20-50 m³ of water. The normal dosage of Oxypond is 30 g/m³ of water. The allowed dose must not exceed 50 g/m³.
Small doses of 10 g/m³ are suitable for increasing oxygen levels during fish transport. In the case of soft water (carbonate hardness CH < 3° dH, total hardness dH < 6° dH), reduce the dose unless the water has been previously treated with a product to increase carbonate hardness, such as Kusuri Bio Balance for example. During the first use, leaves accumulated on the bottom and other debris may rise to the surface due to the released oxygen.
