Privacy policy
Aquipond.com only collects the data needed to process your orders, advise you and, if you agree, keep you informed. We never sell your data. This policy applies to Aquipond.com and to all exchanges with our customer service. Last updated: 12 October 2026.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
- Identity and contact: first and last name, delivery and billing addresses, email, phone.
- Order: products purchased, amounts, order history, delivery method.
- Payment: payment method used and transaction status. We never see or store your card number.
- Business customers: company name, EU VAT number, billing details.
- Exchanges with our experts: messages, photos of your pond, volume, analysis results you send us.
- Customer reviews: rating, comment and first name you choose to publish.
- Browsing: IP address, device, browser, pages viewed, collected through cookies (see section 8).

4. Secure payments
Your payments are processed by specialised providers certified to the banking industry's highest security standard (PCI DSS): PayPal, Mollie and Stripe. Card data is encrypted and entered directly with them; Aquipond never has access to it. Some transactions may require strong authentication (3D Secure) with your bank.

We may also disclose data to the authorities where required by law. We never sell or rent your data.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are covered by a European Commission adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies (basket, login, security, language choice) are set without consent. Audience measurement and advertising cookies are only set with your agreement, given through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time from that banner or your browser settings.
9. Your rights
You may at any time access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, object to its use, request its portability and withdraw your consent. Write to support@aquipond.com: we reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested if there is doubt.

10. Security
The website is fully encrypted (HTTPS). Access to your data is limited to the people who need it, bound by confidentiality. Our providers are chosen for their security guarantees.
11. Minors
Aquipond.com is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about people under 16.
12. Changes
We may update this policy, in particular following changes in the law or in our providers. The update date is shown at the top of this page.
