Description
Aquipond Nautex is coccolith chalk, also known as Champagne chalk: a natural calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) of sedimentary origin, 60 million years old. It regulates pH and dissolved oxygen and slows the build-up of organic sludge in ponds and lakes.
How does Nautex work?
Made from marine coccolith chalk, Nautex works without mechanical dredging, in three complementary ways: biologically, it stimulates the aerobic bacteria that break down sediment; physically, it flocculates fine suspended particles; chemically, it acts as a pH buffer, limiting acidification and promoting oxygenation at the bottom of the pond.

How to use
Preparation: mix 50 kg of powder in 100 L of water and stir until you get a smooth white liquid, known as "Nautex milk".
Application: on small areas, spread with a watering can, covering the surface evenly; on large areas, use a motor pump from the bank or from a boat.
Ideal periods: spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Avoid periods of frost and very hot weather.
What dose for my pond?
Nautex is dosed according to the surface area of the water: 80 to 100 g/m² for annual maintenance, to keep the balance and prevent sludge build-up; 150 to 200 g/m² for corrective treatment, for a silted-up or degraded pond.

- 5 kg bucket: 50 to 62 m² for maintenance, 25 to 33 m² for corrective treatment.
- 10 kg bucket: 100 to 125 m² for maintenance, 50 to 66 m² for corrective treatment.
- 25 kg bag: 250 to 312 m² for maintenance, 125 to 166 m² for corrective treatment.
- 400 kg half pallet: 4,000 to 5,000 m² for maintenance, 2,000 to 2,666 m² for corrective treatment.
- 900 kg pallet: 9,000 to 11,250 m² for maintenance, 4,500 to 6,000 m² for corrective treatment.
