Description
Aquipond Bacto Lake supplies Bacillus bacteria in spore form that neutralise excess nutrients in the water of natural ponds. The result: better water quality, clearer water and conditions less favourable to algae. The water-soluble sachets are thrown straight into the water, without opening them.
How does Bacto Lake work?
In a natural pond, excess nutrients, ammonia and organic pollutants degrade water quality and feed algae. Bacto Lake bacteria consume these excess nutrients and take part in the nitrogen cycle. The water becomes clearer and algae find less to feed on.

How to use
Wear gloves. Throw the water-soluble sachet straight into the water without opening it: it dissolves and releases the bacteria. If you have an algae problem, we recommend adding bacteria to the pond every two weeks.
What dose for my pond?
Dosage: 1 kg per 1,000 m² of water surface, i.e. 100 g per 100 m².

Good to know
- Designed for natural ponds and bodies of water.
- Use when the water temperature is above 10 °C.
- An oxygenation system helps the bacteria develop.
- Store away from UV light in a dry place.
Precautions: wear gloves during use (biosafety level 1 bacteria). Do not open the sachet.
