Description
Aquipond Bacto Maintenance provides biological control of organic waste in garden ponds, natural ponds and lakes. Its formula combines naturally occurring strains of micro-organisms that limit organic waste and improve water clarity, without toxic chemicals.
How does Bacto Maintenance work?
Leaves, leftover food and droppings build up at the bottom of the pond. Bacto Maintenance bacteria digest this organic sediment at a controlled rate and reduce ammonia, nitrites and phosphorus. They boost the biological filter and improve the balance between plants and animals.

How to use
Mix the dose in 5 litres of water taken from the pond. Leave to stand for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally, then pour the mixture over the whole surface of the pond.
- Water pH between 6.5 and 8.0 (correct if necessary).
- Water KH between 8 and 12 (correct if necessary).
- Water temperature above 10 °C.
